Cloud Spice

Sunday afternoon. Quite hungry and no supermarkets open. Regardless of our lovely selection given by the spätkauf next door (you guys rock!). Luckily this one requires a few ingredients with little efforts. Serves also as a base for even more recipes.

In it:

  • 2 Big potatoes
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of cardamon
  • 1 teaspoon of Curcuma
  • 1 teaspoon of Sunflower seed oil
  • 1 spoon of all purpose flour

How to:

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into very small pieces
  • Boild them for about 7 minutes in salted water and oil
  • Once cooked, use a colander to separate the water from the potatoes
  • Put the potatoes back in a pot and start heating it at low fire
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and stir them gradually until getting an even cream
  • Keep cooking for about3 more minutes
  • Cool down for 5 minutes, garnish with your favorite herb and serve.
