Mad Muffin

Summer is here.  30° C Outside and with no willpower whatsoever to go out even more. So I have decided to try another muffin recipe. It has been a while since my last recipe  (sorry) for that one! but I hope you enjoy this one, it serves 6. *Allergen alert: it contains egg and walnuts*

In it:

  • 1 cup of white flour
  • 1 cup of warm milk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon of powdered Dark Chocolate (90%)
How to:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Butter muffin pans.
  • Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
  • Add the egg, milk, butter, dark chocolate and cinnamon, stirring only enough to dampen the flour; the batter – should not be smooth.
  • Spoon into the muffin pans, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  • Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes each.
  • You can serve them with cream, walnut pieces, a fruit (optional) and the powdered chocolate. I used caramel for decoration
  • Eat them all!
