Tortelloni and some spice

After a very VERY long hiatus, I finally made some time for a post. I was in Asia for some time and believe me, that is gastronomic paradise right there. Soon enough I will share new recipes from Japan and China. In the meantime, feel free to give this simple tortelloni recipe. You will use 2 pots max. Nice huh?

In it:

Main ingredients
  • Chicken
  • White mushrooms
  • Red onions
  • Arugula
  • Tortelloni (you can buy them already made or you can quickly make it yourself) This one is filled with ricotta.
Spices
Spices

All of them, ground

  • Coriander
  • Muscat nuts
  • Curry
Rose wine
Optional

Rose wine, for reduction

 

How to

Tortelloni:

Heat water until boiling point

Add the tortelloni for 8 minutes

Strain them afterwards and let it rest in a colander

 

Chicken and sauce:

Chop the onions and mushrooms, then add them to a hot pan.

Once you add them to a hot pan, add the spices and lower the fire to medium.

Remove constantly at medium-fire until brown or for 5 minutes

Add some rose wine for reduction (this is optional!) and let it rest for a couple of minutes

 

Finishing and serving:

Add the tortelloni to your “sauce” and mix

Chop the Arugula as small as you prefer
